the vision & the challenge
Riding across the entire breadth of the United States from June 17 to August 15, 2008, sixty souls, hailing from all over the world, will be mobilizing others towards involvement in YFC’s mission of reaching young people worldwide with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. These sixty courageous, adventurous bikers will be helping people sea to sea and beyond:

From one sea to the next the bikers will traverse mountains and valleys, farmlands and prairies. They will cross 15 U.S. states, pass two of the Great Lakes, visit Niagara Falls and some of the keys areas in the country’s history, and interact with people in small towns and large along the way. They will have opportunities to share their story and the story of YFC with churches, host families and others, challenging them to join in the outreach of YFC.
While riding the participants will also be raising funds for YFC’s programs and people around the world. After expenses 100% of what is raised will go directly towards YFC’s outreach around the world, enabling YFC to give more young people an opportunity to follow Christ and help get them involved in local churches.
While raising funds and awareness for YFC, riders will also be seeing the U.S. in an up-close and personal way. They will have opportunities to represent and express Jesus, and initiate relationships that may have eternal consequences.
